COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) has announced that four additional government institutions are currently in the process of registering with the National Cyber Security Operations Center (NCSOC).
Charuka Damunupola, Senior Information Security Engineer at CERT, stated that 10 state institutions have already completed their registration.
The National Cyber Security Operations Center was recently inaugurated under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The National Cyber Security Strategy aims to establish a secure, reliable, and inclusive digital ecosystem for all citizens.
The initiative is being implemented by the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy, with technical assistance provided by the World Bank.
