Indian Vice President Holds Key Discussions With Prime MInister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya

COLOMBO (News 1st):Indian Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan, who is currently on an official visit to Sri Lanka, met with Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

Radhakrishnan shared highlights of the exchange via his official account on X saying that Both leaders shared the civilizational heritage of the two countries and discussed the importance of further strengthening bilateral ties, including people-to-people bonds.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vice President is accompanied by a high-level diplomatic delegation and is scheduled to meet with various political and community leaders during his stay.

In light of the visit, a special traffic plan is now in effect across Colombo and Katunayake for today and tomorrow.

Police have cautioned the public that traffic may be restricted on several key roads at various times, advising motorists to utilize alternative routes to avoid delays.
