Two Passengers From Bangkok Arrested at BIA With Over Rs. 16 Million Worth of 'Kush'

COLOMBO (News 1st); Officials of the Customs Unit of the Bandaranayake International Airport have arrested two passengers who arrived in the island from Bangkok this morning with a haul of 'Kush' narcotics valued at Rs. 16,820,000.
The arrested individuals are residents of Borella and Maradana, aged 27 and 30.
The suspects and the seized "Kush" consignment have been handed over to officials of the Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
