COLOMBO (News 1st) - Litro Gas says a vessel carrying 3,700 metric tons of LP gas will arrive in Sri Lanka tonight.

Chairman Channa Gunawardena stated that 8,000 metric tons of LP gas have already been brought to the island this month, with 30,000 metric tons stored in the Maldives.

He added that the ongoing Middle East conflict has not affected the country’s gas supply so far.

The Chairman confirmed that LP gas prices will remain unchanged this month, and 100,000 gas cylinders are being released daily.

Supplies for factories and tourist hotels will continue as usual, and he urged the public not to panic about LP gas availability.

Meanwhile, Laugfs Gas PLC says a vessel carrying 3,700 metric tons will arrive tomorrow.

CEO Nalinda Kurukulasuriya said the distribution from the 3,700MT tanker that arrived on February 28 is currently underway.
