Assets Of Drug Trafficker 'Neil' Frozen

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The assets belonging to drug trafficker Ranith Banishan, also known as Neil, have been frozen.

Police said the frozen assets include a luxury vehicle, a land with a house worth 7.2 million rupees in Boralesgamuwa, and two 10-perch lands in Devinuwara.

The assets were frozen under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The investigations were carried out by a group of officers from the Criminal Investigation Department.
