Colombo Calls for Dialogue to Restore Peace in Middle East

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka's Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath says he held discussions with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on March 4 regarding the rapidly evolving situation in the Middle East.

The Minister said Sri Lanka conveyed its grave concern over the escalating hostilities in the region.

He added that Sri Lanka reaffirmed the importance of diplomatic dialogue as the path toward restoring regional peace.
