Constitutional Council to Decide on New Auditor General Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Constitutional Council is scheduled to meet today to reach a final decision regarding the appointment of a new Auditor General. 

The meeting will be chaired by the Speaker of Parliament, Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne.

This follows a meeting held last Friday, where the Council discussed the appointment but failed to reach a definitive conclusion.
