Bentota Police Seize 5kg Heroin, Two Suspects Arrested

COLOMBO (News 1st) -Two suspects were arrested in Bentota with five kilograms of heroin.

The arrests were made during a special raid conducted by the Police Narcotics Bureau.

The operation followed information obtained during interrogations of suspects from the boat 'Chuti Malli', which was previously seized with drugs in the southern seas.

According to Police, continuous operations are underway across the island to eradicate this poisonous drug.
