Second Fatality Reported in Kadugannawa Rockfall

COLOMBO (News 1st); Another person who was injured at the Lower Kadugannawa area after a rock fell on a house and a shop in the Lower Kadugannawa area has succumbed to his injuries. 

Police stated that the individual succumbed to injuries after being admitted to the Mawanella Hospital. 

Four individuals are currently being treated at the hospital. 

Rescue Operations are ongoing at the accident site. 

The Additional District Secretary requests the general public to refrain from visiting the accident site.
