COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Meteorology has announced that the prevailing rainy conditions across the island are expected to ease after the 25th of this month, particularly in the southwestern region.

The Department of Meteorology stated that the current rainfall affecting the southwestern parts of the country is likely to reduce gradually, bringing temporary relief to affected areas.
