PUCSL to Announce Final Decision on Electricity Tariff Revision Today

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) is set to announce its final decision on the proposed revision of electricity tariffs this morning.

PUCSL Director of Communications, Jayanath Herath, stated that the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has requested a 6.8% increase in electricity tariffs.

He further noted that the commission has reviewed the CEB’s proposal and that a final decision regarding the tariff adjustment will be officially announced today.
