32 Senior Cops Transferred Across Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st): The National Police Commission has approved a series of key transfers involving 32 senior police officers, including nine Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) and 15 Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs).

Among the notable changes, DIG G.A.N.L. Wijesena, who previously oversaw the Kalutara Division, has been transferred to head the Badulla Division. 

Meanwhile, DIG W.K.J.R. Dias has been appointed to serve concurrently as Staff DIG and DIG in charge of the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau.
