Foreign Ministry Closely Monitoring Sri Lankans Working in Middle East Amid Ongoing Conflict

COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath says that the government is closely monitoring the situation of Sri Lankans working in the Middle East due to the ongoing conflicts in the region.

The Minister stated that necessary interventions will be carried out in coordination with the relevant embassies and diplomatic missions.

He assured that the welfare and safety of Sri Lankan nationals in the affected areas remain a top priority for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
