COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has expressed deep concern over the escalating conflict in the Middle East and has called on all parties involved to take immediate and concrete steps to de-escalate the situation.
In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, the government emphasized the urgent need for all stakeholders to return to dialogue and engage in robust diplomatic efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.
“Sri Lanka is gravely concerned about the latest developments in the Middle East. We continue to call upon all parties to take concrete steps to de-escalate the situation,” the statement read.
