Boossa Inmates Protest on Roof Against STF Raids

COLOMBO (News 1st); Five inmates at the Boossa High-Security Prison have climbed onto the prison roof in protest, demanding an immediate halt to search operations being conducted by the Police Special Task Force (STF) within the facility.

The protest, which began earlier today, is reportedly a response to intensified STF-led raids aimed at curbing illegal activities inside the prison.

In a related operation conducted yesterday, prison authorities recovered two unauthorized mobile phones from within the premises.
