Heroin Found on Cinnamon Estate in Athubode, Weeraketiya

COLOMBO (News 1st) A stock of heroin has been discovered in a cinnamon estate in Athubode, Weeraketiya.

According to police, the Tangalle Division Crime Investigation Unit uncovered 110 kilograms and 460 grams of heroin hidden within a partially constructed house on the cinnamon estate.

Investigations by both the Tangalle Division Crime Investigation Unit and Weeraketiya Police are currently underway to identify and apprehend the suspects believed to have concealed the narcotics at the location.
