Day 2 of Debate on Second Reading of Budget, Today (19)

COLOMBO (News 1st): Today marks the second day of the debate on the second reading of the 2025 budget. 

The Parliament is scheduled to convene at 9.30 am today. 

The debate will continue until the 25th of February, while the vote on the second reading of the 2025 budget will be held that evening. 

The Committee Stage Debate on the Appropriation Bill is scheduled to be held for 19 days, including 4 Saturdays, from February 27 to March 21.

The vote on the third reading of the Appropriation Bill is scheduled for March 21 at 6:00 PM.
