Fire at Fort Krrish Building Extinguished, Investigations Underway

COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire that broke out last night at the Krrish building in Colombo Fort, which is under construction, has been extinguished.

The Colombo Fire and Rescue Department said that the fire broke out on the 34th and 35th floors of the building.

The fire is said to have started over a pile of hardboard used for concrete structures and partitioning.

The Colombo Fire and Rescue Department announced that eight fire trucks were deployed to contain the blaze.

The cause of the fire has not yet been revealed.

The police say that investigations have been launched into the incident.
