SLCERT Established Cyber Security Operations Center to Protect Websites of Govt. Institutions

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team (SLCERT) has taken steps to establish a Cyber Security Operations Center.

Senior Information Engineer Charuka Damunupola said that the purpose of this center is to protect the websites of government institutions from cyber-attacks.

He said that 40 key government institutions had been identified, and that under the first phase of this initiative, steps will be taken to ensure the safety of their websites from malware and cyber-attacks.
