COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment, Manusha Nanayakkara, appeared before the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today to provide a statement regarding an investigation into employment opportunities in South Korea.
Nanayakkara spent approximately six hours at the CID, giving his statement before leaving the premises this afternoon.
Yesterday, Nanayakkara informed the Court of Appeal that he would be providing a statement to the CID today, following his request for a writ order to prevent his arrest.
