COLOMBO (News 1st); The new cabinet of the National People’s Power government was sworn in today before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the President's office.
The Cabinet includes seven university professors, two doctors, a lawyer, an engineer, and seven other graduates.
The Appointments include:
Dr. Harini Amarasuriya sworn in as Prime Minister.
And then, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya sworn in as Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education.

Prof. Chandana Abeyratne sworn in as Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government
Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara sworn in as Minister of Justice and National Integration
Saroja Savithri Paulraj sworn in as Minister of Women and Child Affairs
K.D. Lalkantha sworn in as Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, Land and Irrigation
