Special Transport Services in Place for Voters Returning to Colombo

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Special transport services are in operation for voters returning to Colombo after the parliamentary election. 

Long-distance bus services have been arranged by the Sri Lanka Transport Board. 

The Department of Railways has also arranged special train services for today and tomorrow.

These trains are available for passengers traveling to and from villages and workplaces after the election and long weekend holidays.

Key train routes include:

Colombo Fort to Badulla departing at 7:30 pm
Badulla to Colombo Fort departing at 5:30 pm

Kandy to Colombo Fort
Beliatta to Colombo Fort
Colombo Fort to Hikkaduwa
Matara to Colombo Fort
Galle to Colombo Fort
