Elpitiya PS Election to be Held Tomorrow

COLOMBO (News 1st): Commissioner General of Elections, Saman Sri Rathnayake, announced that the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha Election will be held tomorrow, October 26th. 

Nine groups have submitted their nominations for this election. 

Voting will take place at 48 polling stations within the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha jurisdiction.

Today, all relevant officials and materials were transported to the polling stations, and the officials will remain at their respective locations. Voting will commence at 7:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM tomorrow.

This election will be conducted under a mixed proportional representation system. The ballot papers will include political parties and independent groups contesting the election. Voters will cast their votes for the candidates representing their chosen political party or independent group.
