US-Sri Lanka Focus on Agriculture & Maritime Security

COLOMBO (News 1st); US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie Chung, met with Dr. Nandika Sarath Kumanayake, the Secretary to the President, to discuss advancing shared priorities between the two nations.

The discussions focused on key areas such as boosting farmers' crop yields and strengthening Sri Lanka’s maritime security.

Ambassador Chung emphasized that the US-Sri Lanka partnership is driven by shared goals, including improving lives, fostering economic growth, and ensuring regional stability.
