Sri Lanka Experiences Shortage of 80 Medicines

COLOMBO(News1st): The Ministry of Health has reported a shortage of approximately 80 types of medicines in Sri Lanka. 

A senior official confirmed that permission has been granted to purchase these medicines at the hospital level, ensuring that essential services can continue without disruption.

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya has inquired multiple times about the medicine shortage, urging authorities to take necessary steps to avoid impacting patients' lives.
