Motorcycle Gunmen Kill 45-Year-Old Man in Dehiwala

COLOMBO (News 1st); A 45-year-old man was fatally shot by two assailants on a motorcycle at approximately 8 AM today. 

The victim, an employee of Dehiwala - Mount Lavinia Municipal Council, was identified as a resident of Gunalankara Mawatha in Dehiwala.

According to police reports, the victim was traveling on his motorcycle from Kalubowila towards Dehiwala when the shooting occurred. 

The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

The injured man was rushed to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. 

Authorities are currently investigating the incident and are on the lookout for the suspects involved in this heinous crime.
