All preparations are in place for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination

COLOMBO (News 1st): Department of Examinations confirms that all preparations are in place for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination tomorrow (15). 

The exam will take place across 2,849 centers.

320,879 students will sit for examination this year.

The examination is scheduled to start at 9.30 am. The Examination Commissioner advises students to arrive at the exam center promptly.

The Examination Department requests that no election campaign activities interfere with tomorrow's scholarship examination.

Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, has requested presidential candidates to refrain from engaging in campaign activities near examination centers tomorrow morning.

The Disaster Management Center advises that if any child is unable to attend the examination due to a disaster, parents should report the issue to emergency number 117.
