Parliament to Convene On Tuesday, Wednesday

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Parliament of Sri Lanka is set to convene for two consecutive days, starting tomorrow. 

This decision was confirmed by Parliamentary Secretary General Kushani Rohanadeera, following a meeting of the Committee On Parliamentary Business chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena.

The morning session tomorrow has been allocated for verbal responses to parliamentary questions. 

In the afternoon, the agenda includes the Second Reading of several significant bills: the Bill for the Reciprocal Recognition, Registration and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments, the Criminal Procedure Code Amendment Bill, and the National Minimum Wage of Workers Bill.
