Sri Lankans Urged To Reconsider Travel To Israel

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel announced the reopening of Israel's main Ben Gurion Airport.

He advised Sri Lankans planning to travel to Israel to consult with their employment agency or the foreign employment bureau before making any arrangements.

In light of the 48-hour state of emergency declared by Israel yesterday, Ambassador Nimal Bandara urged Sri Lankans in Israel to prioritize their safety. He advised against reporting to offices and workplaces that do not have safe houses.

The ambassador also reminded Sri Lankans in Israel to contact the Israeli Embassy in case of any emergencies, ensuring they have access to necessary support and information during this period.
