COLOMBO (News 1st) - National People's Power presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has vowed to honor and seek justice for the victims of the Easter Sunday terror attack under his administration.

He made this commitment during a meeting with the Bishop Don Norbert Marshall Andradi of the Diocese of Anuradhapura.

Dissanayake expressed his concerns about the current government's involvement in the attack, stating, that according to the facts that have emerged so far, the citizens have a reasonable doubt that the people who actually took over the government are the planners of the Easter attack.

He stressed that those who planned the attack and prepared for the attack will never punish the attackers.

He emphasized that only those unconnected to the attack can deliver justice.

Dissanayake assured that his party has engaged in discussions with religious leaders and victims to address their concerns. "We guarantee, we will solve this. We will do justice to those victims," he promised.
