COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Election Commission has reported 17 new complaints related to the presidential election within the past 24 hours.
Of these, 11 complaints were lodged with the District Election Complaints Management Center, while the remaining 6 were reported to the National Election Complaints Management Center.
Since July 31, a total of 337 election-related complaints have been recorded.
The complaints cover a range of issues.
In addition, the police operations room has received 9 complaints related to the presidential election.
According to the Police Media Division, 4 of these complaints pertain to violations of election laws, while 5 involve acts of violence.
