Man Posing as Avalokiteshwara Arrested in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); A man impersonating the deity Avalokiteshwara was apprehended by a special team of the Sri Lankan Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in the Pannipitiya area this afternoon. 

The suspect, identified as Mahinda Kodituvakku, faces charges of money laundering.

Details surrounding Kodituvakku's modus operandi and the alleged money laundering activities are under investigation by the CID.
