Cops open fire at car that failed to stop

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police had opened fire at a speeding car that failed to comply with the orders to stop.
Police said that shots were fired at the vehicle's tires.
According to Sri Lanka Police, officers had flagged down the car to stop based on a tip-off that drugs were being smuggled in the car.
However, the driver of the car had failed to comply with the order and sped away, compelling police officers to open fire.
Three people were arrested in connection to the incident.
