Underworld gangster 'Harak Kata' extradited to Sri Lanka from Madagascar

COLOMBO (News 1st); Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne, a notorious underworld gang leader and drug trafficker, wanted by Sri Lankan authorities for multiple crimes, was extradited to Sri Lanka on Wednesday (15) morning.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department escorted Harak Kata to Sri Lanka along with his associate Salindu Malshaka also known as Kudu Salindu.

Sri Lanka Police said the suspects will be subject to further investigations. Harak Kata and Kudu Salindu along with several other criminals were recently arrested in Madagascar.
