Dengue Control Programs to commence in 61 MOH offices

COLOMBO(News 1st): The National Dengue control unit of the Ministry of health says that due to the prevailing showery condition  these days, dengue eradication programme will be commencing.

Its Director Dr. Nalin Ariyaratne says that these programmes will be implemented in 61 MOH offices. 

He also adviced the General Public to keep surrounding areas clean, especially home, schools and places of worship.

So far 49,759 dengue cases have been reported in the country while 31 deaths due to dengue have been reported.
