Vehicle Registration fee & Revenue License fee hiked

COLOMBO (News 1st) - An extraordinary gazette was issued increasing the fees levied on the registration of vehicles, and annual revenue licenses.

The registration fee for a Motor Car with an engine capacity of 1600cc or less has been increased to Rs. 25,000/-

The registration fee for a Motor Car with an engine capacity more than 1600cc is Rs. 40,000/-

The registration fee for Vehicle used by persons with disabilities is now Rs. 2,000/-

The registration fee for Ambulances, and Hearse is Rs. 10,000/-.

The registration fee for motorcycles was increased to Rs. 3,000/-.

The Annual Revenue License fee for a Petrol Motor Car less than 762kgis Rs. 2,500/-/

The Annual Revenue License fee for a Motorcycle is now Rs. 900/-.

The Annual Revenue License fee for a Diesel Motor Car less than 762kg is Rs. 3,900/-.
