EPF now at 28Mn members

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Employees' Provident Fund has amassed more than 28 million members.

However, this number also includes those who are deceased. 

The Deputy General Manager of the Employee's Trust Fund, Kitsiri Ratnayake, stated that 10 welfare programs are currently in place for the said members.

He stated that many do not avail the benefits of these welfare programs due to being unaware of them.

Deputy General Manager Ratnayake added that a loan program is also in place for conducting the repair work of members' houses.
