COLOMBO (News 1st) - Sri Lanka's foreign reserves have risen to USD 1,777 million within September, from USD 1,717 in August.
According to the data released by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, this is a 3.5% rise of reserves in the country.
Sri Lanka currently have USD 1,682 million in foreign asset reserves within the country, and USD 25 million in gold assets.
In June Sri Lanka’s reserves rose after five months, with the officials reserves increasing to USD 1,920 million.
According to CBSL statistics, the official reserves have been on a steady decline since December 2021, when it was last estimated at USD 3,139 million.
