Task Force to crackdown on drug trafficking

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs, and Constitutional Reforms Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapaksa will appoint a Task Force to crack-down on drug trafficking in Sri Lanka.

The Minister says the Task Force will include officials from the Ministry of Defence, Tri-Forces, and other Drug Control agencies.

Steps are underway to prepare a plan for the Task Force, said the Minister.
