NO LP Gas distribution on Wednesday (15)

COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro gas said that it is NOT possible to resume distributing LP Gas to the market on Wednesday (15).

Litro gas noted that the payments were made to the Gas Tanker which was anchored for seven days at the Thaldiyawatta coast in Kerawalapitiya.

A spokesperson for Litro said that USD 3.9 Mn was paid for the shipment and demurrage cost of Rs. 20 Million.

In the meantime, Laugfs gas said the fuel crisis had disrupted gas distribution.

Laugfs said that due to this it is NOT possible to state the exact amount of gas that can be distributed in the country daily.

In such a situation, people are still waiting in long queues to purchase gas.
