CBSL to solve Sri Lanka's paper shortage

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Industries stated that the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) is intervening to address the paper shortage.

The Ministry further stated that steps have been taken to increase the paper manufacturing sector in the country.

The Ministry of Industries, S. B. Dissanayake said the paper shortage arose due to difficulties in opening Letters of Credit as a result of the foreign reserve crisis.
