Container Transporters increase costs by 60%

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Container Transporters Association has decided to increase transport costs by 60% with effect from Sunday (13).

The move comes along while the prices for many essential goods, such as food and medicine, were granted permission to allow increases in prices and the importation of several non-essential items was restricted.
