COLOMBO (News 1st): The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is due to hold it's 55th Annual Meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka next year.
The meeting will be held from 02 to 05 May, 2022, after two consecutive years of holding the meeting virtually.
ADB will hold its Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors under the theme ‘positioning a climate-resilient green economy for the post-COVID-19 world.’
The conference will be attended by 3,000-5,000 delegates from member countries, including Finance Ministers, central bank Governors, international bank representatives, company executives, and journalists.
In his remarks at the Business Session of the 54th Annual Meeting, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Chair of the ADB Board of Governors for 2021-2022, acknowledged ADB’s timely response to the COVID-19 pandemic and invited participants to continue the dialogue in Colombo.
