ODI Debut for Maheesh Theekshana - SLs 1st International Player born in 21st Century

COLOMBO (News 1st); Maheesh Theekshana became Sri Lanka's first international cricketer to be born in the 21st century when he made his debut on Tuesday (7) for the series decider against South Africa.

A product of St. Benedict's College, Colombo, the 21-year-old off-spinner received the national cap from Dinesh Chandimal.

Chandimal is Theekshana's captain at Sri Lanka Army Sports Club.
