"It's upto the vaccine and God": Keheliya

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Government emphasizes that the vaccine is the only viable solution to facing the COVID-19 pandemic. Responding to a question raised by a journalist, Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Ramesh Pathirana said that while the Government takes recommendations proposed by the health sector into account, curfew will not be implemented until absolutely necessary. "The only solution we have at the moment is the vaccine. After we vaccinate the population, then it's upto God" Cabinet Co-Spokesperson Minister Keheliya Rambukwella mentioned.
