Litro Gas assures no shortage of gas in local market & it has sufficient stocks

COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro Gas says there will be no shortage of gas supply to the local market despite Laugf Gas deciding to suspend its gas imports.

In a statement, the Chairman of Litro Gas said Laugf Gas that meets around 20% of Sri Lanka's domestic gas requirement had decided to suspend its imports and Litro Gas is capable of covering that requirement.

The statement added that Litro Gas will issue gas to any type of cylinder in any color and that it already has the necessary stocks to meet the local requirement.

It added that Litro Gas possesses the capability and market network to import extra stocks when necessary.
