Prime Minister's official website restored after cyber attacks

COLOMBO (News 1st); The official website of Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was hacked on Thursday (03).
The Information Technology Society Sri Lanka said when one accesses the Prime Minister's website, one is redirected to another page.
It was observed that when one visits the redirected website, several software are automatically downloaded onto a PC or mobile device.
Secretary to the Prime Minister Rohan Waliwita speaking to News 1st said the website was restored.
