2,959 COVID cases on Sunday (23); 554 from the Colombo District

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka recorded a total of 2,959 COVID-19 infections on Sunday (23), said the Department of Government Information.

2,945 of these cases were from the Post-New Year Cluster and the remaining 14 were those who tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from overseas.
