China to donate another 500,000 doses of Sinopharm to Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); China has decided to donate another 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine within this month to support Sri Lanka's efforts to combat COVID-19.

This was confirmed to News 1st by State Minister of Production, Supply, and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals, Professor Channa Jayasumana.

The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka also tweeted on the same matter.
