Agreement on the development of the WCT forwarded for approval to AG

COLOMBO (News1st): The agreement on the development of the West Container Terminal of the Colombo Port with Indian and Japanese investors have been forwarded for approval to the Attorney General. Cabinet paper has been put forward recently outlining a proposal to develop the West Container Terminal with entities named by India and Japan, the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Port Authority General Daya Ratnayake said. Talks had been held with the companies in order to arrive at a consensus with regard to the project.
